- Hi, my name is Anna and I'm going to show you a day in my life as a GIS analyst at UC San Diego. I came into the office this morning and dropped off my
- lunch in the break room before heading over to my desk. I'm on the GIS team here and my work revolves around addressing campuses
- mapping needs. So, this might look like building a tool to help people find things on campus or updating our spatial data to make sure that it reflects
- what's really on campus. I then took my lunch break and I always like taking a walk on campus and finding a nice spot to eat my lunch. And before
- heading back to the office, I stopped by one of the projects that I worked on. When you scan the QR code, it opens up walking directions to some popular
- venues on campus. I then got back into the office and did some more work and on most days it clears up in the second half of the day
- and I was able to see some paragliders from my desk. Then I headed home and afterwards I stopped by my garden to give it some
- water and I had a handful of cherry tomatoes to pick. And to end the day, I got to see a few friends. Thanks for watching.
